My Most Anticipated Book Releases for September 2021

It’s that time of the month again! (Where I bore you by telling you which book releases I’m excited for) I’m going to try very hard to make this sort of post, anticipated releases, a consistent, monthly thing. Every month, there’s lots of wonderful books releasing out there whether its from our older, loved authors or new authors we discover. I think I might have gone a little overboard with the number of books I’ve included in this post so please bear with me!!

A Kiss of Venom by Beena Khan

So excited for this one!! It’s so good!!

Publishes on September 7th 2021

Once upon a dream…
Heavy were the eyelids of the woman who reigns alone.

I’ve been in a coma for the past three years after an accident left me unconscious and widowed. I’m in a sleep so deep, it cannot be broken… until one day, I feel a brush of soft lips against mine.

In my groggy state, I wake up to a pair of dark eyes and a sinister smile.

Now I’ve returned to my old life. I’m your neighborhood hot mess single mom who keeps her nose in everyone’s business. My husband was the FBI director, and I was one of his agents. We were part of an operation, and now, caught in the crosshairs, I’ve returned to finish the case of the most dangerous man in New York City.

My case is the Tyrant. Alexander Nikolaev, the Pakhan of the Russian Bratva.

They say all great love stories have happy endings, but mine already ended in a tragedy…. but he’s awakening something in me that’s dark. Kill him or kiss him, I can’t decide.

I’m getting ensnared in his trap. If I don’t entangle myself from his wicked power—I just might end up losing my life. Then no one can sever those threads.

Dangerous Temptation by Giana Darling

Publishes on September 28th 2021

He arrives all dressed in black. Diamond cufflinks. A watch on his tanned wrist that cost more than we would ever see in a lifetime of work. He carries a single red rose for my mother.

Months later, Tiernan Morelli lays red roses on my mother’s grave. That same day, he tells me that he is my new guardian.

I should have known from the very start that he had more in common with the thorns than the rose. Now I know the truth: I’m a pawn in his dangerous game of revenge. I was too young and naive. Now it’s too late to save myself from his clutches.

I belong to him.

Walls of concrete fortified his resolve, and as a grown man, he keeps to himself and works hard to earn an honest living. No wife, no kids, not even a dog to rely on him.

His quiet life is upended when strange things start happening to him. As the events escalate, he can’t continue to blame the neighborhood kids who roam freely at night. Forced to report a break in, he anticipates a swift investigation and the person responsible to be caught.

What he doesn’t expect is the woman he’s loved in secret for twenty years to return to town and lead the investigation.

His attempt to protect Dani as kids was pathetic at best, but when his stalker gets wind of a woman in his life, no matter that she’s merely investigating a case and nothing more, Reece will do anything to keep her out of harm’s way. Including sacrificing himself.

What his captor has in store will rock the very foundation Reece lives upon and will force him to face his past head on for a chance at survival.

Poor Reece has no idea what’s coming for him.

Ignoring the website and her mother is one thing, but ignoring Milan proves much more difficult, especially when she promises to help him renovate the beach house of her dreams.
